CAREER COUNSELORS GAIN TOOLS WITH TRUE COLORS
Presenting Carolyn Kalil’s Career Development Training Programs
in Los Angeles April 27-28
Santa Ana, CA…The question, “What are you going to be when you grow up?” appears to be valid at any age. And it is especially important in the educational world, where Career Counselors are helping young people make decisions that can affect their lives. For the past 16 years, Carolyn Kalil, author of Follow Your True Colors to the Work You Love has been an active facilitator of True Colors Basic Awareness Seminars primarily in California Community Colleges and other educational institutions throughout the state. She has brought the True Colors model of understanding different personality types into the world of Career Counseling where it can help determine what type of career will best suit the talents of students planning their futures.
True Colors, Inc. in Santa Ana, CA, has joined with Kalil to exclusively market, sell, and produce her Career Development Certification Training Program in the educational market across the U.S. and Canada. The next California programs will be April 20-21 in San Jose and April 27-28 in Los Angeles. For more information or to register, contact Connie Jennings at (800) 422-4686 or (714) 437-5426 or go to www.true-colors.com, and click on Career Development on the front page. In some locations, a one-day training will be offered for trainers and facilitators who have previously attended a True Colors Basic Awareness Certification Training.
“We are pleased to become an integral partner with Carolyn in this exciting market”, stated Dr. Veeder South, President of True Colors, Inc. “We feel this program needs to be offered to more high schools, colleges and universities around the country to provide educators with the opportunity to teach their students the values and benefits of matching their own True Colors to career choices that are in harmony with their personality, temperament, and natural abilities.”
“I have found that over 50% of those in the workplace dislike their jobs”, says Kalil, “and the majority of students entering college have no career direction. There is a great need to assist others in finding meaningful work rather than ending up in the wrong job just to pay the bills. I have had great success in using True Colors as a tool to help many people find fulfilling and rewarding careers. I believe that through our combined efforts this partnership will expand the career program and reach more of those who need our services.”
Counselor, speaker, and author, Carolyn Kalil has been on a mission to inspire and assist others in discovering and using their unique gifts and talents.
